Product Description
1.2D × 38mm Semi-Dull Polyester Staple Fiber is a high-quality synthetic staple fiber produced from virgin or recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It features a fineness of 1.2 denier (1.2D) and a cut length of 38mm, making it ideal for blending with natural fibers like cotton, wool, or other man-made fibers.
The semi-dull cross-section contains a small amount of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) as a delustering agent, giving the fiber a natural, slightly matte appearance rather than a bright, shiny look. This grade offers a balanced combination of strength, elongation, crimp stability, and softness.
Key characteristics:
Linear density: 1.2 denier (fine fiber for soft hand feel)
Cut length: 38 mm (standard cotton-system processing length)
Appearance: Semi-dull (natural matte finish)
Tenacity: Good strength for spinning and weaving
Uniformity: High consistency in length, denier, and crimp
